The Chongqing Science & Technology Commission announced a programme last week to support AI innovation projects in seven categories:
- intelligent and connected vehicles
- intelligent perception
- intelligent robots
- intelligent manufacturing
- intelligent terminals (including wearables)
- cloud computing big data
- smart grid
Government funding will be provided to support the execution of these projects in Chongqing - subject to an upper limit of RMB1 million to RMB10 million depending on the projects. The government funding will also be subject to a maximum of 20% of the R&D investment proposed by the applicants.
Though the application window is surprisingly short, its not too late to apply - the deadline is tomorrow.
